Wood Placemat - American Flag

Wooden placemats make a dramatic addition to your favorite table settings.  These wooden placemats are made from curly maple.  They are composed of thin slats that are glued to a vinyl backing that allows the placements to flex in much the same was as a roll-top desk's tamboured door.

What really makes these placemats stand out is the hand colored image of the American flag along with the phrases "In God We Trust" and "United We Stand".  They make a great conversation piece.

Care and Cleaning

Our wood tamboured placemats have a urethane finish.  Avoid prolonged exposure to water.  The placemats may be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth as needed.  You should dry them immediately to reduce excess moisture concerns.  The glue bond between the vinyl backing and the wood slats should hold up under occasional use.  Excess bending and moisture can cause the glue bond to fail.
